Clear BDD is an app that was created to prevent a relapse for patients with Body Dysmorphic Disorder. BDD is a mental disease which makes people obsessed about their appearance.
Clear BDD was commissioned by ‘AMC’ and assigned by ‘HvA’. The app consists of two parts, one part helps prevent relapses and the other is a test to rate the severity of BDD.
The homepage is devided into three sections so that the user has easy access to the essentials.
The homepage shows today’s planning and the most important info for each task.
A different view from the planning showing the recently added activities.
On the third page the user can manage his 'signals' which he should be aware of.
A riskfactor is an event that causes tension and can happen any time. In three steps the user adds a riskfactor to a calendar event so he can recall them later if necessary.
The Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (YBOCS) is an official test we implemented in the app.
The test consists of ten questions which are divided in five categories about thoughts and acts.
The questions in the original YBOCS test are much longer, we shortened them so the threshold to fill it out is lower.
Hit the question mark in the top right to get more information about the question.
Most questions are answered by ratings ranging from none to serious.
Afterwards, results are shown in a graph which the user can scroll through to see their history.
